St. John’s is changing as well. Each Sunday we greet and welcome into our life individuals and families who are seeking to find a community of faith, friendship, and service. On any Sunday morning, you will meet members who have worshiped here for over 70 years, and young families who have just begun worshiping with us. Single persons, couples and families of several generations are all a part of our life together. At St. John’s you will find persons who have been life-long Episcopalians, persons who come from other traditions, and also those entering into the life of a faith community for the first time.
We are open to new ways of being alive to God’s incarnate love while being faithful to the traditions and practices of the Episcopal Church. We are catholic and yet reformed, open and affirming, grounded in the neighborhood while drawing friends from the surrounding towns and downtown Boston.
We hope that you, like many of us, “find your way here” – to home, to family, to community, to Christ.
St. John’s welcomes you!
