After seven years of ministry under the New Jerusalem Fellowship,our pastor, the honorable Apostle John Cornish Sr.was inspired with the vision St.Johns' Holiness Church.While on their way to return arental van to Wilmington,De.with Deacon Freddy Young and Bro.Terrell Kinta Cephas, the question was asked by Deacon Freddy,"What's stopping you from getting your OWN? From that point on the vision began to manifest into what is now St. Johns'Holiness Church,Inc.

After sending Evang.Savannah Morris and Deacon Freddy Young,along with their families to search for a building,one was located! Thanks be to God,on May 23,1997,St.Johns' was fully chartered and ready to go forth in God. The building located by the group sent by the pastor, was once a "Dominos'Pizza."

God used not only our pastor,but our General Mother,Mother Rosa Lee Cornish,Deacon Freddy Young and family,as well as Evang.Savannah Morris and family to be a great financial support to the vision of the pastor.After much hard work,our first place worship was located at 201 East Carroll Street in Salisbury,Maryland.The building was dedicated on June 15th of 1997 which was Fathers' Day.

The honorable Bishop C.Cornish of Marion ,SC officated to service.BUT THEN....Prophecy after prophecy came to us stating that the building was to small for what God had for us.We as the people of God stood on His word,and did just what He said He would do.On December 31,1997 we received a bigger building.
