Mission:
We are an inclusive congregation striving to make Christ known to all people to through worship, prayer, service, study, and stewardship within a community of grace and love.
About Us:
…A Community of Faith
We are an inclusive community of faith that strives to bring all people to God’s healing embrace through worship, prayer, fellowship and service.
St. Luke, our patron Saint, was both an evangelist and physician. We strive to live out his work in the world by accepting that the world is in need of healing and God is the healing balm the world needs. Every day we are bombarded with images of the world’s suffering; natural disasters, warfare, refugees fleeing violence, crime, addictions, and oppression. We know the world is in need of healing and the congregation of St. Luke’s has long accepted God’s call to us to be active participants in that healing work.
…A Sacramental Community
Sacraments are the manifest signs of God’s grace working within us; sure and certain markers of God’s love. Our common life is rooted in the sacramental rites handed down to us from Christ; Baptism and Communion. But even beyond these, St Luke’s strives to be a community where God’s grace is made real in our lives and in the wider community.
…An Inviting Community
We are a warm, welcoming congregation, and a community that is best described as sincere, loving and genuinely concerned for others. We are a community where you can be known and loved just as you are. In a world that separates us from friend, family, and neighbor, St. Luke’s is a community that deliberately seeks to work against the tides of isolationism and individualism. We invite you to be a stranger no longer, but to be a friend in Christian community.
