Our Beliefs

St. Paul Lutheran Church of Hammond is a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
We believe

That the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God

That there is only one true God, who has revealed Himself in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

That by His suffering and death on the cross, Jesus Christ made a full atonement for our sins.

That Jesus rose from the dead on Easter morning and later ascended into heaven

That God comes to us in His Church through His chosen means of grace; the Word, the Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord's Supper

That Jesus will return on the last day to judge the living and the dead and receive all those who believe in Him to Himself
