History:

Sangamon Valley High School National Honor Society was created in 2004. The consolidation of Illiopolis School District and Niantic-Harristown School District led to the creation of the new honor society. Mrs. Joanne Waller was the first NHS sponsor for Sangamon Valley High School. National Honor Society is now led by Mr. Jeffrey A. Quimby. In addition, Mr. Dan Carie also plays an important and vital role in NHS.
