For over 20 years, the State of Florida FWC operated a Rifle/Pistol range on this site and a Sporting Clays course with 5 Stand for a number of years. In January of 2012, that property plus an additional 125+ acres were purchased by Dick Miller and Bill Thompson. Together, they had the idea for an all inclusive shooting sports complex for Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, Wobble Trap, 5-Stand, and a much larger and improved Rifle and Pistol range.
