It is the mission of Santo I.S.D. to ensure that all children in our district have equal access to quality education that enables them to achieve their full potential and fully participate now, and in the future, in the social, economic, and educational opportunities in the community and wherever they choose to live.

We feel that, in order to have an effective education system, the parents of the students need to be involved in the student's education. In addition to the above goals, the district will strive to achieve the following:

Keep all students in school until they obtain a diploma.

Maintain a well-balanced curriculum.

Provide qualified and effective personnel to teach and administer their education.

Achieve a high level of performance on TAKS in comparison to the national and international standards.

Maintain a safe and disciplined educational environment.

Provide training opportunities to our staff keeping them aware of creative and innovative techniques of instruction and administration that will enhance student achievement.

Provide current technology for students and staff to increase effectiveness.

Exemplary performance in the reading and writing of the English language and the understanding of mathematics, science, and social studies.
