Scotia Acres Alpacas is located in Lumberton NJ and is convenient to Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York. The main home was built in 1832 and has been restored to maintain the original floors, woodwork, and eight working fireplaces. The house is situated on five acres, perfect for raising alpaca. We have recently added an additional 48 acres to accommodate our growing herd.
Our family became interested in alpacas through local newspaper articles and realized that we would love the alpaca lifestyle. The farm is a family run business. Jim JR is the farm and property manager, Jim SR and Marilyn are in charge of special projects and financial over site, Marilyn is also in charge of the fiber end of the business and Bill is our farm photographer.
We are committed to raising healthy, vibrant, and content alpacas. Our herd mainly consists of Suri alpacas from top bloodlines. We have recently been breeding for Huacaya in order to further diversify our herd.
At Scotia Acres, we are available most days and evenings to discuss our herd and are open for farm visits by appointment.
