Seven Lakes Snowmobile Club

About Us

Seven Lakes is a 580+ member family-oriented club based in the town of East Wakefield, New Hampshire in the Ossipee Valley. We maintain over 65 miles of trails that connect to trails of 5 other clubs allowing travel in all directions. We are responsible for that portion of NH Corridor Trail 19 that runs from the ME/NH border to NH Route 16 in Ossipee, NH as well as part of Corridor Trail 22.

Almost all club work is accomplished with volunteer labor, this includes trail marking and clearing, signing, bridge building, trail grooming, etc. All officers and directors are also volunteers and serve without any compensation. The club owns 8 trail groomers, the two largest are Tucker Model 1000 Sno Cats. The next two are also Tuckers of an earlier vintage. Smaller machines include 4 Ski Doo Skandics. There may also be pipe drags and tracpaks available to be towed behind members' sleds.

The club actively supports the New Hampshire Snowmobile Association charity Easter Seals' Camp Sno-Mo and local fire and rescue departments by donations of rescue equipment.

The club purchased land and built a groomer maintenance shed in 1999, a storage addition in 2002 and plans a future clubhouse addition. We are looking for contributions for the clubhouse part. We can use any help, monetary or otherwise, that you can provide.

The club tries to conduct a safety course each year in late November or early December for youngsters and others new to the sport of snowmobiling.

We urge all active snowmobilers to join a club where they ride and Support Our Sport. Membership applications for the club are available at most local businesses in the Wakefield area as well as our clubhouse and this website. Remember, as of the 2002/2003 season you had to belong to a NHSA affiliated club or pay an extra $30 when you registered your sled. This still applies to all registrations.
