About Us:

Sewell Mountain Sailing Association is a grassroots organization dedicated to bringing the sport of sailing to those who ordinarily wouldn't have access to the equipment needed.

We believe that everyone should have the chance to go sailing.

THE SEWELL MOUNTAIN SAILING ASSOCIATION EXISTS TO:

• Encourage the sport of sailing and racing
• Promote the science of seamanship and navigation
• Foster and encourage social fellowship among members of this and similar associations
• Operate as a charitable association

To that end, we are registered in West Virginia as a non-profit corporation and acknowledged by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
