Vision Statement:
The Vision of the Shrewsbury Church of God is to reach those who Jesus reached – the hurting, the sick, the lame, the halt, the blind and all that have no hope. Our vision is to fulfill the great commandment by reaching upward in Worship to God, reaching outward to others with God, and reaching inwardly to ourselves for God. We will accomplish this by acting upon our Mission Statement.

Missions Statement:
The Mission of the Shrewsbury Church of God is 3-fold.

Upwardly: J
Our mission is to reach upwardly to God with Praise, Worship, and Adoration.
We will use our lives to give God the Glory, the Honor, the Praise and the Adoration due Him with a true heart. We will accomplish this by our outward expression of Praise, our inward expression of Worship, and our life’s expression of Glory.

Outwardly: O
Our mission is to reach outwardly to the Community, Region, State, Country, and World advancing the Kingdom of God . Specifically, we will reach and win the hearts of hurting humanity in the Kanawha Valley .
We will challenge the hearts and minds of people to not only make a difference but be the difference in their lives, their homes, their communities, and their world through Christ Jesus. We will do this by sharing the love of Christ with all through a variety of targeted ministries to meet the needs of others.
