Signature Hospice

Signature Hospice  believes that providing care for a terminal patient is a sacred and honored opportunity to help people in the last stages of life.    We invite you to bring your compassionate presence to support our care in a variety of ways:

* Our patient and family companion volunteers share their time doing whatever is most needed -- reading and writing letters, reading books aloud, playing board and card games, playing a musical instrument, taking walks, providing conversation, listening, or simply holding a hand.

* Our vigil volunteers sit vigil, pray, sing, hold sacred space with a patient in their last hours especially when there is no family present.

* Our special projects volunteers knit, crochet, or quilt lap blankets, create note cards, and design other projects as gifts for patients.

We serve patients and families throughout Marion county.  Your compassionate and loving presence is all that is required to make a difference in someone's life.

For a complete volunteer job description, application packet, and training dates contact: Michele Fuchs, Signature Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, [email protected], 1-800-936-4756, or visit our website, www.4signatureservice.com.
