Sisters Fest is a celebration of sisters, as well as friends that are as close as sisters. If you don't have a sister, or she can't attend, bring a friend, or come solo... you'll find a "sister friend"!

Sistersville was named for sisters, which makes it even more special! Charles Wells settled Sistersville in the early 19th century. In 1839 the town was incorporated and named in honor of his daughters, Sarah and Deliah, the 18th and 19th of his 22 children!

The festival has grown every year and not just in numbers, in friendships as well. This festival makes you set aside a time to come together with a sister or friend from close by, or across the country for some serious fun! The next time you pass a "sister" on the street, you'll have a new bond with them after sharing secrets, family history and many precious memories!!
