About Us:

SMLPSA is a Not for Profit 501(c)7 Corporation in Virginia established in October of 2010 whose purpose is to provide a venue for members to enjoy the newly built John G. Rocovich Jr. Sports Shooting Complex located at the W.E. Skelton 4-H Conference Center in Wirtz, Virginia. We presently have over 250 members.

Our Club was formed in the summer of 2010 and developed a relationship with 4-H to be the exclusive means of utilizing the facility for indoor year round handgun and small caliber rifle shooting.  We enjoy a state of the art 12,000 sq. ft. range and educational facility that our Club holds both competitive matches and educational programs. The facility is staffed by NRA Trained Range Safety Officers who are there to help you enjoy your shooting experience.
