The objective of our baseball program is to provide a supervised, competitive athletic program, subject to the rules and regulations of Dizzy Dean Baseball and the S.C.R.A. We believe that in order for our children to grow into good, healthy adults, the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty and reverence must be firmly implanted at a young age. Please help us to maintain this objective throughout the season by encouraging and displaying good sportsmanship at all times. The attainment of exceptional athletic skill or winning the game is secondary; the molding of future citizens is the purpose of this organization.
S.C.R.A. Baseball does not receive any assistance from the federal, state or local government. This means that whatever gets done must be done by the general membership. We encourage all families to get involved. Workdays are scheduled every Saturday, five weeks prior to opening day; every team is required to have a representative so that the necessary work can be completed. Please bring your rakes, saws, weedeaters, paintbrushes and ladders and help make our park the best it can be. Remember that this park is for the children ...... let's take care of it by doing our part.
