"Knowing God and Making Him Known"
We
have become a vibrant gathering of people committed to Christ and one
another. Four vital relationships are at the center of what we do...God,
Family, Church, and Community/World.
We believe that three
essential experiences are the way to establish and grow in those vital
relationships. First is worship. Worship is God's greatest desire and
man's greatest need. Regular participation in personal and corporate
worship not only honors God but strengthens us. Second is attendance in
a "growth group." We have many groups available for you to learn the
Bible and how to follow Christ more closely. Third is service to
others. Whether its helping other believers in a time of need, serving
the community, or going to a foreign country to tell others about
Christ, each of us need to be giving of ourselves to others.
A
few things you need to know--everyone is welcome. Come as you
are...you'll find blue jeans to coats and ties. We have two morning
worship services filled with inspiring music and a "real life" message
from our pastor, Dr. Carroll Marr. Bible studies for the entire family
are offered on Sunday mornings, as well. The week is filled with
opportunities for spiritual growth, community ministry, and family
activities. Just check our schedule and website.
Southcliff is a
unique place to be. We have members and attendees from virtually every
corner of the globe. This multi-ethnic influence makes us different in
many ways. We are a diverse congregation with a number of young adult
families, full children's and youth ministries, lots of singles, and a
solid group of median and senior adults. Southcliff is a large church
by many standards, but we also feel like a small church. You'll find
plenty of places to get involved and make friends.
Our worship services take place at 9:20am, 11:00am, and 6:00pm on Sundays
