About Us:

Organized in 1945 with 16 members, the Southport Lions Club has grown to an average membership of over fifty women and men who have an interest in serving their neighbors. We are people from every walk of life, business, regions of the country who strive to fulfill the motto of Lions Clubs International, "WE SERVE". Our fund-raising projects are many and varied and combined with our dedicated and unselfish members, provide the means for needed service to our community, especially the visually and hearing impaired.

We are a group of women and men who have bonded together through service to our community, giving back, and the fellowship that we enjoy, with one another.

A recent survey of our membership indicated that Southport Lions most enjoy serving the less fortunate and the comradely of fellow Lions.
