Split Rock Elementary has an enrollment of 475 students in grades K-5. Class sizes range from 19-23 with four teachers at each grade first through fifth.
A school has been on this site since the late 1800's. The current building consists of two facilities connected by a bridge. The older section was built in the 60's and the newer wing was constructed in 1972. Both buildings were completely renovated in 1992 creating a bright, colorful and technologically rich environment.
The district motto is "We Celebrate Learning" and to that end we strive to do our best to continuously improve each year. A dedicated staff of teachers, assistants, teacher aides, secretaries, custodians, food service workers and bus drivers work as a team to provide a complete educational program. Split Rock students do very well each year on the state assessments in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies. We are proud of our students' success.
