In 2011, we are offering a Summer Veggie Share and a Winter Veggie Share. Full and half shares available.

The Summer Veggie Share runs from mid June to late October. It includes all the favorites--greens, broccoli, green beans, carrots, basil, cabbage, tomatoes, melons, corn, eggplant, peppers, winter squash, onions, potatoes, and more. Members will get to choose between items to suit their tastes. In addition, members can U-Pick flowers and herbs each week. Our summer CSA shares are available for pickup Tuesday afternoons on our farm, from 4:30-6:00. Each member will take home their products in handmade, reusable farm bags.

Our Winter Veggie Share will have four pickups, one each in November, December, January, and February. Throughout the course of the winter, members will receive greens, storage crops, value-added products, and frozen vegetables.

Spring Wind Farm sits on the top of a hill three miles south of Northfield, where our vegetables and animals thrive in the sunshine and fresh air. Sustainable, chemical-free practices are central to our values as farmers. Many of our vegetable varieties are heirloom and open-pollinated, and we raise some heritage breed meats. We value education, emphasizing experiential learning for all ages.

Our farm is diversified, so we have something for everyone. Our CSA members pick up their vegetables here on our farm. They can see exactly where their food comes from, get to know their farmers and fellow CSA members, and have some flexibility in which produce they choose...and then take it all home in a handmade farm bag.
