Our mission at Springhill Lake Elementary School is to provide students with a positive, safe, diverse environment where all students are given an equal opportunity to learn and to develop skills in order to become productive and successful in meeting the challenges of a changing world by providing education that is multicultural, that eliminates student achievement gaps, and enhances student achievement thus creating a community of lifelong learners.

At Springhill Lake Elementary School (SHL), our children begin in Head Start which is located off site. Kindergarten through the Fifth grade onsite. We have approximately 720 students.

Springhill Lake Elementary School is a comprehensive school that serves a culturally diverse community. As many as 70 different countries are represented. Our students range in grades from Kindergarten to grade 5.

Our program also includes students who are part of a regional diagnostic program for special education. The majority of our students live in a multi-family dwellings and are able to walk to school.
