Mission Statement:
The Hospital Sisters established St. Francis Hospital in 1875, in Litchfield, with the mission of meeting the health care needs of those living in Montgomery and Macoupin Counties. St. Francis Hospital and the Sisters share particular commitments to serving the sick, aged, poor, and terminally ill; promoting health; working within available resources; and continually improving the quality of services. St. Francis Hospital continues to meet the needs of all whom it serves with care, joy, respect and competence.
