What We Believe

Bible - The Word of God is divinely inspired, it is inerrant and infallible. We believe in the verbal, plenary, inspiration of scriptures. We use only the King James Version which came from the Masoretic Text of the Old Testament and the Received Text of the New Testament (Textus Receptus). The Bible is our authoritative standard for our faith, practice, and instruction.

Godhead - Exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The three are one God.

Creation - God is the sole creator of this universe. We believe in the Genesis account of creation. Creation took place in six, literal days (24 hour period).

The Person of Christ - God, by His sovereign choice and out of love for men, sent Christ into the world to die for sin. Jesus Christ was both God and man in flesh, born of a virgin and lived a sinless, perfect life. The four Gospels reveal His mighty works, miracles, and signs. He was crucified, died for our sins, and was raised from the dead on the third day. He later ascended up to Heaven and sits on the right hand of the Throne of God. He is the Head of the Church and intercedes for believers. He will come again personally, to this earth and set up is millennial kingdom.

Atonement -
By His death and by His shed blood, the Lord Jesus made a perfect atonement for sin. His shed blood justifies the Believer.

Preservation -
True believers are eternally secure. They cannot lose their salvation. Sin may interrupt the joy of fellowship with God and bring the loving discipline of the Heavenly Father but not destroy their relationship with Him.

Resurrection - All who receive Christ become joint-heirs with Christ. At death, their spirits depart to be with Christ in conscious blessedness. At the Rapture, their bodies will be raised in the likeness of His glory and will dwell forever in divine presence.

Spiritual Growth -
It should be the goal of every Christian to grow in spiritual maturity through obedience to the Word of God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.
