Sunnyside Chamber Of Commerce
Mission:
"I remember when it really was a small town. We were Italian, Greek, Jewish, Irish, Spanish, black, people from every corner of the world, and we all knew and helped each other. We were the gateway to Long Island and to Manhattan," Buster Sabba said proudly, almost coming out of his chair. When reminded that newcomers view Sunnyside/Woodside the same way, Buster replied, with almost tender hope, "Really?" (see end of article for more)
Our Purpose:
The Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce is 62 years old. The Chamber's core purpose is to promote the businesses of Sunnyside individually and collectively and to foster a business-friendly climate. A positive business climate includes betterment of the greater Sunnyside community. The Chamber does this through unity, leadership, promotion, advocacy, referral, communication, education, and collaboration.
