The goal of Sunset Middle is excellence.  In striving to reach this goal, there must be a cooperative effort on the part of the students, teachers, administrators, parents, and community.  We want our students to take pride in their school and community.  We earnestly solicit your cooperation in this venture and assure you that the result will be well worth the effort.  

We are committed to making every year an exceptional experience for all students. Our teachers work together interdependently in order to impact their practice in ways that would lead to better results for students and our school. Teachers engage in collective inquiry to identify essential student learning, create lesson plans, develop assessments, analyze scores, and set achievement goals. Our focus is to ensure that our students receive the best instruction from an action oriented team of teachers.
