About Us:
Sweet Season Farm consists of 100 acres, located in the town of Washington, Maine, half way between the capital of Augusta and the premier coastal vacation spot of Camden-Rockland.
We purchased the property in 1987 but only began growing commercially in 2003 with the planting of the first 500 blueberry bushes. Every year we either expand our existing plantings or try something new such as blackberries, lignonberries, highland cranberries, bush cherries or an experimental red blueberry.
Our primary focus is u-pick, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and pumpkins. We are not certified organic but follow the principles and are committed to sustainable agriculture, our environment and the flora and fauna that share our piece of earth.
