About Us:
Sycamore Canyon School is a neighborhood school nestled in the foothills of Santee, California, approximately 20 miles east of San Diego. Built in 1961, Sycamore is one of nine schools in the Santee School District and the only K-6 school. It is situated in a suburban, middle class area and is home to 366 elementary students. The nearby Santee Lakes provide the school community with boating, fishing, camping, and picnic facilities all within walking distance of the school.
