If you love to sing harmony (Especially Barbershop) then this is the place for you. I sing with the Texas Country Gentlemen a 22 man Barbershop chorus. We have won most improved chorus 2 years in a row out of 7 choruses that competed. If you can sing either: Tenor, Lead, Baritone or Bass and can carry a tune, we are interested. You don't have to read music. We are a well known and respected Chorus in the Central Texas area. We also have 3 active quartets, I sing with the Brazos Knights (We have been together for the past 20 years) and were honored to be asked to sing the National Anthem and open the HOT Rodeo last year. We meet every Tuesday evening for Chorus rehearsal at the Cultural Activitiy Center. Exit off at 3rd street, off 1-35 exit in Temple and you will see the bldg. to the left, their are 2 buildings and we meet on the 2nd floor of the bldg on the right @7:00PM.
