Mission Statement

Mission at TLC is to create an environment where children enjoy learning, and where the educational needs of the whole child are addressed. This is done by providing hands-on experiential academics in combination with outdoor education, artistic expression, service learning, and TEAM work.

TLC School emphasizes cooperative learning and confidence building, and offers a creative learning environment that stimulates and encourages individual progress and recognizes each child’s unique gifts. Our integrated approach allows our students to discover new abilities and deepen their knowledge of themselves and their community. This discovery is the heart of The Learning Community School
