The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

3601 Eisenhower Ave.
703-399-2900

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the designated charity beneficiary in the DC Metropolitan Area for IHOP's National Pancake Day on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. We are looking for dedicated volunteers at each location to collect donations on behalf of LLS!

Volunteers will spend National Pancake Day (Tuesday, March 3rd ) at area IHOP restaurants informing guests of the mission of LLS: to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for our patients and their families.

This year, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is hoping to raise over $325,000 through IHOP's National Pancake Day!

More than 60 IHOP restaurants in the DC, MD, and VA area are raising funds in honor of Emma, age 6, leukemia survivor and IHOP Honored Hero. Emma comes from a military family and in May 2012, Emma was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  Her family moved from Germany to Bethesda, MD for her treatment.  She has been going through treatment for the last two years at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and completed her final chemo on August 3, 2014 and is doing well!  Emma loves to play with her 3 brothers and her sister, especially outside. She enjoys art, reading and her favorite color is purple.
