The Mushroom Hut Fox Farm
We want to provide 5 shares this year. We will offer mixed salad greens to include edible flowers and herbs (romaine lettue, loose leaf, Slow Food Deers Tongue lettue, Radicchio, beet tops, etc), we will offer farm fresh eggs as available, in-season berries as available, specialty items as available (homemade soaps, aromatherapy products, crafts), beans, peas, carrots, onions, cabbage, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes (sweet/Irish), squash (early and winter), corn, pumpkins, Jerusalem Artichokes and cut flowers when available. We have Shiitake Mushrooms in October. Jams/jellies and cornmeal in the Fall. Will provide a more extensive listing of our produce selection in a couple of weeks.
Farm Fresh jams and jellies and our new Flower Essence jellies. We will have cornmeal from Bloody Butcher Corn in the Fall. We are making changes...we have asked to have our farm removed from the Animal Welfare Approved Program. We prefer to make our own decisions...it is after all OUR farm. We have changed some details regarding our Goat Rentals...rentals will not be available until Fall of 2011 or Spring of 2012....call for details. We are offering 2011 CSA shares! We grow Shiitake Mushrooms on logs organically (not certified). We are a certified nursery/collected plant where we sell native plants (wild azalea of different shades from pink to orange, sweet shrub, spicebush, sassafrass, black cohosh and others).
