The Occupational Center of Union County (OCUC) is dedicated to preparing individuals with disabilities, residing in the Greater Union County area, for life and work. The OCUC is committed to serving and promoting the well being of individuals with various disabilities, who are capable of work, through the provision of a work environment that is safe, supportive, and sensitive to the needs of each individual. The individuals served will be stimulated and encouraged to develop emotional, social, economic and recreational skills, while acquiring work skills/habits through employment in the agency's industrial work center and opportunities in the broader community at large. The OCUC will act as a catalyst through these work opportunities in order to foster independence and growth to help the individuals served become active, productive members of society.

The center currently serves over 300 hundred individuals and offers the following programs:

As well as providing services for the individuals, some work for the on-site warehouse facilities. OCUC clients specialize in timely, accurate high volume, consumer package-goods and the repacking of products.
