The Patuxent Partnership is a non-profit economic development consortium focusing on the diversification of the technology business base in Southern Maryland.

The Patuxent Partnership occupies a unique position within the region for companies seeking access to the commercially viable innovations created in the region’s government laboratories.

The Partnership was formed to gain national and international recognition of Southern Maryland as a growing technology community with an outstanding quality of life and environment.

Founded in 1995, The Partnership has grown from 25 members to over 300 members today. Membership has grown because members recognize the unique value provided by The Partnership, including access to senior government scientists and technologists, and results-focused networking opportunities.
