The Renaissance Group of Central Florida, Inc. is a young organization established in October 2009 by a group of volunteers who are residents of Central Florida. The Purpose of the Renaissance Group of Central Florida, Inc., as stated in Article II of its Bylaws is: "To provide educational and supportive social services to homeless, economically disadvantaged, unemployed and underemployed community residents of Central Florida by providing personalized services such as transitional housing, job training, counseling, personal finance management, and food bank services. Assisting women who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to become knowledgeable about the services and resources available to them in the community is a primary part of RGCF's work. Informational and referral services are offered to link RGCF's clients to existing health, educational, job placement, and social services with the goal of diminishing high rates of unemployment, crime, homelessness, illiteracy and poor access to health care".
