Thornapple CSA
Thornapple CSA has completed its first year, and is planning for 2010! We bring great local produce to members, use certified organic farmland located 15 miles from Lansing; provide work and experience to farmers; help build Lansing's local food system; and build the relationship of eaters to the food they eat.

We started with 25 shares, and are looking to grow in 2010. In 2009, we grew heirloom varieties of many crops, held soil and hoophouse workshops, brought in interns, and encourage membership participation in growing and distributing the food.
