History:

After two disastrous fires in the year of 1918, a citizens improvement committee recommended that a fire company be formed in Town Line. Prior to this time, the citizens of Town Line had to rely on the Village of Lancaster or the Bownmansville Fire Company for the fire equipment and protection.
