Located in the heart of the minerals rich Powder River Basin, in Northeastern Wyoming.

The Town of Wright was founded in the late 1970’s, out of the need to house the area’s energy workforce. Since that time, Wright has grown into one of Wyoming’s most progressive communities. Hard work, friendship, and the willingness to help a neighbor, are values that reflect Wyoming. Combined with these values is the pride in knowing we play a major role in providing the nation’s energy needs. These qualities make Wright a truly unique place to live. We are glad you stopped by.
