The mission of Truman Benedict Elementary School is to educate students to their full potential. We will emphasize not only basic skills but advanced skills and critical thinking. All curricular areas will be addressed. Additionally, students will demonstrate respect for others, maintain regular attendance, and exhibit good citizenship.

        High expectations form the foundation of the educational program at Truman Benedict Elementary School, and students are challenged to put forth their best efforts. We understand that all children can be successful. Schoolwide and classroom programs recognize both the good citizenship and academic achievement of students. Student Council develops citizenship and leadership. Students participate in academic pentathlons, science fairs, spelling bees, and handwriting competitions.
