About Us:

A Methodist society was organized in Valley Falls during 1820s. In 1835, a church building was constructed it still exists as an apartment building across the street from our church. In 1884 a larger church was built on the current site. 

That building burned in 1920. Our present building was dedicated in 1923. Through most of our history, we have been part of a circuit (one minister serving more than one church). From 2002 to June 2005, we had a pastor to ourselves. In 2005 though 2007 Eileen was acting as a supply pastor to the Tomhannock Church. Now she is splitting her time with Greenwich UMC.
