W. G. Coleman Elementary School is located on Zulla Road between the towns of Marshall and the Plains. It is named in honor of Mr. William Garland Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a longtime teacher and administrator in the Fauquier County Public School System. For many years he served as the Principal of Marshall High School and Marshall Elementary School. Coleman was constructed in 1967. Currently, Coleman has 390 students in Grades K - 5. We have 55 staff members, which includes administrators, teachers, assistants, office staff, custodians and food service workers.
