The mission is to make a positive difference in the lives and future of the people who live in Waco and McLennan County through grant making, promotion of community philanthropy, and support of the not-for-profit sector.
History:
Waco Foundation is a non-profit community foundation trust established to receive gifts, bequests, and donations to be administered for the benefit of the people of Waco and McLennan County. The Foundation was founded in 1958 with a $30,000 gift from R. B. Parrott and, in 1993, substantially endowed by a $14 million dollar contribution from the Stephen Goldstein estate.
