Mission:

The mission of the Washington Historical Society is to acquire, preserve, and display Washington’s memories: yesterday’s, today’s, and tomorrow’s. We shall help to preserve buildings of historical significance, establish and maintain a museum to house memorabilia, and promote and sustain public interest in the history of Washington.
