On August 10, 1799 a small group of adventurous souls formed a house church in this little town at the edge of the frontier. This bold experiment in Christian faith has grown, endured and evolved for more than 200 years, through times of profound blessing and deep struggle. Our church on the hill has absorbed two centuries of prayer, praise, laughter and tears. Each generation adds to tradition and encounters Christ anew in this place. We strive to stand out as a visible beacon of faith-in-practice for those seeking God.
