Our Congregation was founded more than a century ago as a neighborhood church for Protestants of all denominations.

Now affiliated with the United Church of Christ, our church retains its local roots and friendly, independent spirit. Our gracious Victorian Building, with its stained-glass windows and bell tower, is located two miles from Concord Center at the corner of Main and Pine streets. Since 1894, it has been a vital gathering place for people of varying ages, abilities and backgrounds. Together we worship, pray, and explore the Bible, mindful of our founders' desire to promote "Christian fellowship", and " to build up the Kingdom of our Lord".

The United Church of Christ denomination was formed in 1957 from a merger of the Congregational Christian Church and the Evangelical and Reformed churches. The UCC now has more than 5,500 self-governing congregations nationwide and takes pride in a strong, common center enriched by great diversity at the level of the individual church. The UCC acknowledges Jesus Christ as the son of God and Savior and as the sole head of the church. It recognizes two sacraments: Baptism and the Lord's Supper or Holy Communion. Its ordained ministers, both women and men, work together with the laity to embody God's love, justice, and peace in the world.
