About Us:

The Western Beaver County School District is in the third year of it's six-year Strategic Plan. Our annual goals are to continue to build a foundation for a performance-based educational program. This plan permits students the opportunity to demonstrate learning in addition to simply recieving classroom instruction. Our academic program is based on the Commonwealth's expectations regarding standards-based education. By using these expectations as a springboard, our curriculum has prospered to include Advanced Placement classes, inquiry-based learning, and an inclusion-based program for both Special Needs and accelerated students. Finally, we have a very active community involvement including an active PTO and Boosters organization who are involved in many fundraising and school activities, including the recent construction of the Fairview Elementary playground.
