The Western Reserve Daylily Society (WRDS) was established in 2010 by a core group of daylily enthusiasts that wanted to share their love of the daylily flower with likeminded people.
WRDS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose philosophy is based on education, communication, dedication, and community service while having lots of fun together. We are an active club and work together on garden projects, gardens, and club events. We believe we have a lot to share with others and we love daylilies.
The Western Reserve area is located in northeast Ohio and includes Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Huron, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Summit, and Trumbull counties, however, we are happy to bring daylily lovers on board regardless of where they are located.
If you have a willingness to roll up your sleeves, work in the garden, and participate in our meetings and events, then this is the club for you! We garden April through October, weather permitting. Peak daylily season in our area is mid-July.
