Mission:

The philosophy of Western Yell County Elementary is that each child is seen as a unique person who possesses certain potentials, needs, aspirations, and interests.

Because all pupils are different, it is the purpose of our school to strive to provide them with different experiences which will enable them to achieve their maximum potential so they may be useful and productive members of society.

The education of children is a comprehensive program which must be undertaken through the cooperative endeavors of the school, the family, and the community.
