The past, present and future is also evident in our recreational opportunities. Curtis, Leon Pesheret, Stephen Ambrose, Ben McCready, Fran Achen, Vern and Steve Meisner, and Cousin Otto have inspired other artists, including the Whitewater Arts Alliance, to host events, exhibits, contests and festivals throughout the year. The Irvin L. Young Auditorium, at the UW-Whitewater campus, offers internationally recognized stage performances and cultural events.
