Each share is equivalent to 1/2 a pig, grown over a 10 month period. The price includes price of piglet, growing, slaughtering, butchering and smoking. The meat is cut and wrapped to share holders specifications. There is no requirement to work at the farm but visitors are welcome and may be put to work!

Wild Acorn Farm has grown slowly from the desire to provide our family with the best possible food. As an additional benefit, our activities allow us to provide naturally raised, piglets, pork, eggs and some seasonal produce to a limited number of our neighbors.

Our pigs and chickens are raised with NO antibiotics, growth hormones or animal by-products. We believe transporting our animals prior to slaughter causes undue stress and so our pigs are slaughtered on farm as humanely as possible. We use a small custom butcher guaranteeing personal attention.
