The mission of Windermere Elementary School is to work cooperatively as a team to support each other in the growth and knowledge of the best practices in education, so that we can provide an educational program that will enable all students to acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to succeed.

Windermere Elementary is a K-5 public school and is a part of the Orange County Public School District. Our school mascot is the mustang and our school colors are blue and yellow.

Windermere Elementary is housed in a beautiful building within the town of Windermere, Florida. We are very proud of our community, school, staff, students and parents. We believe in “Children First” and are dedicated to supporting each child in reaching his/her maximum potential. Therefore, Windermere teachers and parents have established high expectations in both academic excellence and citizenship. This commitment and dedication has led to many accomplishments for our children and staff, including being recognized by the Florida Department of Education with an “A” grade.
