Jackson’s General Store is proud to announce they are teaming up with WYSR (Windsor Youth Sports and Recreation) and bringing back what was once lost 20 years ago…. A tradition for many Windsor Families and Residents, “The Windsor Town Fair”.

Amanda Jackson, Owner/Operator of Jackson’s General Store, is passionate about the fair returning back to her hometown. Amanda is just one of many local business owners that is continually looking for ways to contribute to the amazing Windsor Community. She is one of the first to take the lead and invest in doing a variety of activities, attempting to bring Windsor back to its former glory. In Amanda’s own words, “Having grown up and attending school in Windsor, I have such fond memories of all the buzz and activity happening on Main Street. However, the Covid Pandemic, coupled with unsavory events related to our community in days gone by, the town has become sadly quiet. Now, we (those that recall a time of fun and excitement in our community), are ready to breathe new life into it and begin its revitalization. What better way to embark on that venture, than to bring back a local favorite… the Town Fair?!”

We are asking for your support in helping to rejuvenate our Hallmark Town! Over the last 20 years our town has gone without a town fair due, in part, to inadequate funding and/or manpower to support it. Amanda has already contracted Dreamland Carnival Company to provide rides and booths, and we just want to give the community a fair to remember. With our school district being one of the leading in the state, and WYSR being proactive and excited about the community growth, many new families have come from near and far to make Windsor their home. What was once our sleepy little depressed town, is now hustling and bustling. We are flourishing and coming back strong. And we couldn’t be more excited!

Our town is a strong community with deep roots and we take great pride in everything we do. Your support in bringing back to Windsor what was once lost, would help begin the healing of our Hallmark town. Our Town Fair is the perfect start to this endeavor.
